Happy Thursday! I can’t believe that it’s already September. This year is flying by and I’m still scrambling to get a grip on things. I don’t have any concrete fall plans, but I’m excited to share a few things with you all to kick off the new month!
In this Thursday Things post, I’ll be sharing a comfy loungewear set, Derma E’s Hydrating Gentle Cleanser, and a custom resin tray set.
Waffle Knit Pajama Set — ZESICA
I purchased this set on Amazon for a lightning deal. The set is $36.99, but I bought it on sale for like $21. I’m so glad I didn’t impulse buy the set at full price, though I probably wouldn’t have since I rarely buy clothes that aren’t clearance items.
I chose a bad time to take photos, but I’ll do better in future posts.
I have a sweater by this brand and I like the quality of it. This set is no different, and I love the color of it! It seems that this sage green color is in right now because I’ve seen it on a lot of clothing. I actually recently bought a set from a boutique in this color and I’ll be sporting it soon.
It’s loose fitting, super soft, and has pockets! The summer heat has been ruthless and I typically wear this set to cool down in the evenings. It’s the perfect loungewear and I’m wearing the set at least once a week. I’d buy this set in every color if I could.
Hydrating Gentle Cleanser — Derma E
Another favorite Derma E product of mine is the Hydrating Gentle Cleanser! At the beginning of the year, I purchased a Derma E sample/travel Hydration set to see if the brand would work for me and this cleanser was included. The smell is light and my face feels so soft and renewed after using this cleanser.
There are so many different skincare products out there, and I’m trying any that are options in my FabFitFun boxes, but the Derma E collection will be one that I’ll always use.
Before using this cleanser, honestly, I was just apply witch hazel to my face after using some other face wash and that would be my skincare routine. Thank goodness I learned and moved past that. The witch hazel did wonders for me too, but now I have something more stable and established for my skin.
Since I also use a different cleanser at night, I only use the hydrating one in the mornings. I’ve been using this bottle for over two months now and I still have a ton left. I’d say this will last me for the rest of the year, but I’ll be sure to keep track of how long it takes me to finish this bottle to include in this post.
On the Derma E website, the cleanser is $15.50 or you can subscribe and save the product for $13.95. On Ulta’s website, it’s also $15.50, but online only. I thought I saw it in stores before, but I’m probably thinking of another product of Derma E’s.
Custom Marble Resin Rolling Tray Set / Ash Tray Matching Set — The Kamikaze Butterfly
Okay, so I don’t use this tray to roll things or anything like that, but I’ve been seeing these cute resin trays and wanted one to use for my photos and plants. It was a wonderful coincidence that I purchased this set from a seller in Nashville.
I placed my order on December 6th and didn’t receive it until January 22nd due to the seller being backed up on orders, especially during Christmas time, but the wait was worth it! The seller shows the process on her Instagram and it looks extremely time-consuming but so satisfying!
The set is handmade, and there are so many customizable options and trays to choose from! There are like 30 different primary colors to pick from, then you can choose a second color and/or add some glitter or gold leaf! I didn’t know what gold leaf was before placing this order, but I love, love, love it.
I requested for my custom order to be similar to the one that the seller had shown for the item at the time. The photo inspiration is no longer there, but there are some really gorgeous ones that she’s uploaded to show off!
My tray is blue, black, and white with the gold leaf. If you want more colors, add your request in the note or shoot her a message and she’ll work her magic! She’s super quick at responding as well. I think she replied to me within 10 minutes.

So pretty and the tray is a perfect photo background! I really like the lighter, brighter blue color. As for the ashtray, I have made it my coaster since it’s the perfect size for most of our cups!
I am bummed that the seller now has 9×13 trays. Maybe I’ll buy one someday to match my current set. Anyway, definitely check out The Kamikaze Butterfly‘s Etsy shop! There are so many gorgeous sets and products to choose from.
