I really need to get my priorities in line. It’s been a whole month since I last posted, how horrible of me! I didn’t want to get in the habit of not posting, but here I am.

Also, I’m not off to the best start since it’s already 11 PM, on the first Tuesday of a New Year!! I promise to do better this year; today was a fluke – hopefully. Plus, I think I need to re-evaluate some of my things and focus on other platforms to use to my advantage.

I went to Manhattan, New York a few weeks ago, and it was the absolute best! It such a change of scenery compared to this East Tennessee sight I’m used to. I’m envious of the locals, there’s so much life and movement going on! Definitely a contrast to my town with a handful of places to eat that we could eat all within a month, if we wanted to challenge ourselves to mainly chain restaurants

Also, there aren’t any museums or places to go for entertainment. We have a run down theater downtown, a Putt-Putt golf course that is pretty bare, and a mall that is in the process of renovation. Going to new and exciting places really widens my perspective of the world. It was so beautiful to get the opportunity to go and see just a glimpse of it.

I’m in the routine of married life right now; potentially, I may have a job interview. *Fingers crossed.* It’s for a bank about 10 minutes from the apartment – a lot better than my restaurant job 40 minutes away! Still not a dream job, but I have hopes it’ll further me elsewhere.

For now, my restaurant shift schedule has changed so I have 2 whole days off! Surely I will be able to generate some new posts. If not, I am merely disappointing myself.

This post is sadly an update. I need to get to working on the juicy content tomorrow for next week! I’ll also have more time to finally catch up and get to reading other people’s blog posts as well.

Until next week, I promise!
